Electric Pizza is looking for a Team Lead who will oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Service
Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation
Deliver high levels of customer service and handle issues professionally
Monitor service flow and resolve operational challenges quickly
Staff Management
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise all restaurant staff
Lead by example and build a positive, accountable team culture
Conduct staff meetings, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions when required
Ensure appropriate staffing levels for all service periods
Kitchen Oversight
Supervise kitchen operations and coordinate workflow
Ensure consistency in food preparation, baking, taste, and presentation
Manage kitchen inventory and ensure fresh ingredients are always available
Financial & Cost Control
Manage daily cash-ups, POS reports, and banking procedures
Control food, labour, and operating costs in line with budget targets
Oversee stock ordering, receiving, and inventory counts
Minimise waste, theft, and inefficiencies
Inventory & Suppliers
Place orders with approved suppliers and manage deliveries
Verify quality and accuracy of incoming stock
Maintain optimal stock levels without over-ordering
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all areas
Prepare for and manage health inspections and audits
Reporting & Communication
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
Communicate staffing needs, performance results, and operational issues to ownership
Implement systems and procedures as directed by management
Business Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and guest experience
Support promotions, menu updates, and new initiatives
Maintain consistency with brand standards and company policies
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years’ experience in restaurant management (pizzeria or high-volume kitchen preferred)
Strong understanding of food cost, labour cost, and inventory control
Confident leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Calm under pressure with strong decision-making ability
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays
