ACCOUNTANT Long Mountain Country Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to oversee its financial operations, ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficiency for all members. Key Responsibilities: · Manage financial operations, including budgeting and reporting. · Ensure organizational compliance with financial policies and procedures. · Oversee accounts receivables and payables. · Support and drive adherence to procurement policies. · Perform bank reconciliations. · Prepare timely financial statements and budgets. Qualifications & Skills: · Bachelor’s degree in accounting or ACCA Level 1 Certification. · Minimum three (3) years of experience in a similar role. · Proficiency in QuickBooks, Peachtree, Microsoft Excel, and database management. · Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations. · Knowledge of Jamaican tax regulations and experience navigating government tax portals. · Strong data entry and bookkeeping skills. · Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. · Experience in property management accounting or working with homeowners' associations or membership organizations is an asset. · Above average customer service skills and ability to engage with discerning clients.
