CAREER OPPORTUNITY A well-established logistics and warehousing company is seeking experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join its operations team. Key Responsibilities · Load, unload, move and stack cargo and warehouse materials safely and efficiently. · Transport goods to designated areas within the warehouse. · Ensure loads are stable, secure, evenly distributed and within the forklift’s approved capacity. · Operate the forklift in accordance with warehouse speed limits, designated routes and safety procedures. · Maintain clear visibility while transporting and positioning cargo. · Assist with the safe placement of goods on pallets, skids, racks and designated storage areas. · Complete basic incident or accident reports when required. Qualifications and Experience · Certificate in Forklift Operations. · Valid General Driver’s Licence held for at least two years. · Secondary School Leaving Certificate. · Minimum of three years’ experience operating a forklift. Required Skills and Attributes · Ability to prepare basic incident and accident reports. · Willingness to work overtime, Saturdays and weekends when required. · Applicants must be in good health and possess the physical capability, dexterity and vision necessary to operate a forklift safely.
